VM gets suspended

Yesterday I installed a vin7 onto a 4.0 esxi host, but it gets suspended after half hour of run. Never ever happened that to me. What happened?

Make sure the guest VM is not set to sleep or hibernate when idle.

Well I dispute "never" if you don't change anything in Windows 7 it ALWAYS happens by default, maybe you didn't change the power settings for that VM in Windows 7

Well, before reading your answeres I did uninstall vmware tools.

The machine was not suspended for hours.

After reading your answeres I did revise power options,  and you were right.

But for me it's strange that without vmware tools it did not suspend, with vmware tools it did.

Anyway thanks. Smiley Happy

Thats because VMtools passes the power state request up to the esxi host, which suspends the VM.
