VM advanced configuration settings

Hello,

I am aware of how to get the vmware advanced settings for a specific vm.

But how do i list what all possible advanced settings can be meangingfully placed in them?

For example the other day working with a powercli guru he helped figure out how to add ip info in advanced settings. Now the key value pair worked but how do I find out all those keys and what all values can be added to better utilize these settings.

Yes i checked that but wasn't sure if it displays all of the possible settings or just whats already listed there.

Yes, I think it list only parameters already present in .vmx configuration file... anyway, check this another post for more than 1200 undocumented vmx parameters: http://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2010/10/1200-undocumented-vmx-parameters.html
