One of my virtual machine has created serial port and was connected checked, has connected console cable from cisco switch console port to the ESXi that the VM resided and mode was on use physical serial port on the setting. When login to the VM and checked the device manager the port it showed only COM1, but when tried putty on COM1 and only black screen was showed even after pressing enter few times but still nothing came out.
