Hi,
One of the VM in the cluster (HA/DRS/VM monitoring enabled) got powered off (no reboot). Guest OS eventviewer (windows 2000) not reporting any error other than "unexpected shutdown". Then, I looked into the VM log file and noticed the following entries:
While I search this error using google, I end up with a VMware KB article http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102773... where it says the VM monitoring might cause this error. As per KB, I looked at my hostd.log, it looks clean and no entries on the Event tab in the vCenter console as well.
Is it really VM monitoring caused the issue or anything different? Please help me to find the real root cause.
