what is the configuration of your environment?  there is some possibilities if, both DC should be handled by same V center and data store should be shared with both DC hosts and hosts kernel IP and v motion IP should be in the same subset and pingable.

Hi Dhnaraj,

The environment is very small one and without shared storage also only one vcenter with 7 esxi host configured.

when we start migrating it shows 15% then after the error says the host connection failed, Some of my friend says there might be port issue.

just to clarify, are you moving the vm between data center object inside vcenter or moving between physical data centers?

Hi,

You need to shutdown the EXSi host and remove it from it's current Datacenter, add it to the Datacenter you wish to Migrate the VM to, then Migrate the VM.

That could be true. If vMotion fails at 14% it is an issue with networking. So, check the VMkernel ports both ends, check physical network as well. It would be better if you can upload the Hostd.log and "vmware.log" from the problem VM.
