VM Invalid

After a powerfailure a VM has the status invalid in the vebclient and can´t be started.

One disk in the RAID also went down but is now replaced and the RAID adapter says the volume is OK.

The machine and VM had 2 datastores connected to it and the large one countaining the vmdk file seems ok, the other one im not sure, how do I verify it the easiest way? I can see some files on it but my knowledge is to limited to make anything usefull of it.

Any help in this case would be appreciated.

Hi,

Unregister and register the virtual machine or try to reload it by vim-cmd command.

It says the VM is invalid trying to find the VMID so that is not possible I´m afraid.

[root@VMESXi6:/dev/disks] vim-cmd vmsvc/getallvms
Skipping invalid VM '3'
Vmid Name File Guest OS Version Annotation
