We used Dell AppAssure to create a VM from a backup of one of our client's Servers that just failed.
In the pics, it appears that AppAssure created the VM with the .vmdk files in a different storage location from the remaining VM disk files. I am currently migrating the VM from one of our hosts in vCenter to a new host we built for them and changing the storage location to the new server's local storage. This server will only be an esxi host not even using vCenter once we give it back to them and power it up in their office location
Will the cold migration that is changing host / storage put all the VM disk files into local storage? the .vmdk , .vmx , etc... ?
