VM Clone MAC issue

Hi All,

I have just cloned a Linux VM but its not booting up saying MAC addess has been chnaged.I dont know how to resolve it.

check on the original vm if mac manual is set.
edit vm settings, nic, mac manual.
or rescue boot, using rescue cd
and adjust mac address or add/remove nic

Nope, MAC was automatically set by vmware.

yes..?
anyway, you can bind eth to a mac address in your guest os (linux..Centos?).

If you boot into linux rescue you should be able to adjust that.

I cloned my machine from VM1 whose MAC is 00:0c:29:f5:8c:c6.Clone machine MAC is 00:0c:29:33:ab:fc.

So which MAC should i assign.
