After receiving assistance in this topic ( http://communities.vmware.com/message/2069281#2069281 ), I was easily moving vms around. In that previous topic I mentioned not being able to move a 2008 R2 vm. Using the new method, I was able to move over a "thick" disk 2008 R2 vm. I began the copy process to move over another 2008 R2 vm, but did not see that it was a "thin" disk (I realized this later) so I didn't add in the -d thin command. After adding the copied .vmdk file, the vm blue screens during the Windows loading screen. I went to re-add the old vm's hard drive but that blue screens as well. How can that happen when nothing was done to the old vm besides copy its data?
