VDI datastore implementation between using NFS and VMFS5

Hi People,

I'm about to create the datastore on my EMC VNX array to hold 50 Windows XP and 7 virtual machine for the purpose of VDI projects.

I wonder which datastore type that is recommended between NFS and VMFS5 ?

There really is not a preferredrecommended storage since bothe work very well -

Because from the following diagram from EMC it is using NFS http://www.emc.com/collateral/hardware/technical-documentation/h11008-infra-xendesktop-vsphere-ra.pd... instead of VMFS due to the perceived maximum VM recommendation per VMFS volume.

I'm not sure if the new VMFS5 has no limit of the total number of VM per VMFS datastore anymore ?
