VCSA 6.5 vPostgres

vcenter 6.5 / esxi 6.5

I Use more than 50 hosts

If use Postgres, I have a maximum of 20 hosts.

Do I need to use oracle to use more than 50 hosts?

Hello,

It seems you are using the vCenter Server 6.5 Windows embedded/packaged vPostgres (Hosts 20 and 200 VMs).  vCenter Server Maximums

VMware and as per our experience we recommend to use vCenter server appliance with embedded vPostgres database which has the following maximums:

- Up to 1000 Hosts

- Up to 15 000 VMs

You can use postgres itself..

Limitations are changed with 6.5 vcsa. Please go thru below documentation
