Hi,
I apologies if i post this in the wrong forum. Does anyone know what is the VCP6-DCV certification path? Are there some other exams which should be taken in advanced? I have taken the course Whats New vSphere 6. But my certification expired.
Thank you!
if your Expired VCP was VCP5-DCV and this was done after taking vSphere 5, ICM course, then go for following exams, because in this case you are suitable for New Candidate, Path 2
2) VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization Exam
but if your Expired VCP was older version or it was VCP5-DCV upgraded from your VCP4 certification then you got attend one of the following course and take above both the exams.
vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6]
vSphere: Optimize & Scale [V6]
VMware vSphere: Bootcamp [V6]
VMware vSphere: Fast Track [V6]
vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6] On Demand
vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V6] On Demand (coming Soon)
vSphere: Design & Deploy (coming Soon)

Hi,
I had VCP 4 and afterwards i took the Whats New for vSphere 5. Then took VCP 5 and certification expired. Now I took Whats New in vSphere 6. So if I understand you correctly i have to take the second option you have presented?
Thanks!
in that case, yes, it's the second Option which is suitable for you.
I would still recommend, take an opinion from certification@vmware.com, just in case if there's something that I am missing here.
