Hello,
I am trying to use a proxy with vSphere Client. The proxy essentially gives us access to our dev network (flat network) where all the VMs and VmWare Hosts are. There is a firewall between our corporate network (where I am now) and our dev network. We have a few NAT IP addresses that allow us access to the Dev network but we have no more available, so that I cannot allocate a NAT address to any of our VMs or even Hosts.
I have managed to open a tunnel using Putty to connect to our VC server, so that I can manage all the Hosts and VMs but I cannot connect to any VM console I get the following error:
Unable to connect to the MKS: Failed to connect to server 10.10.10.1:902
I tried to set up a remote tunnel on Putty so that all traffic from 10.10.10.1:902 would be sent back to localhost:902 but this does not work as port 902 is already in use
Error on var/log/secure
error: channel_setup_fwd_listener: cannot listen to port: 902
I have noticed that there is a config file (VpxClient.exe.config) and it looks like one should be able to add a new key with proxy settings, but anything I have tried
Any ideas?
TIA
