Using directpath with a soundcard

Hey

I am running a test to get a soundcard to work within an esxi installation.

This is the hardware im running on:

vmware esxi 5.0 U1

Server 2008 R2 X64

onboard soundcard - reaktek ALC269 HD Audio (VEN_10EC&DEV_0269)

I have redirected the sound card to the machine and i have installed the driver.

the problem is that i still don't get any devices.

Any help will be very appreciated!

this doesn't directly answer your query, but why not just redirect sound through an RDP session?

Thank you for the answer, but im making a jukebox some i need it to be able to play to the sound card.

Is your screen shot from an RDP session or a console session?
