Using Shared filespace on several ESXi VMs

I have an ESXi server with 3 VMs on it (all Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition), and I wanted to know - can I use a section of one of the datastores as a common file location, like a shared NAS? I have ample space in a datastore if I can.

Welcome to the Forums - not directly through one the ESX host - what you could do us add another virtual disk to one of your VM and share that disk out as a network share -
