Hi all!
The problem is that Events section in Host-Monitor is not readable at all, because is full of messages
User dcui@127.0.0.1 logged in as pyvmomi
User dcui@127.0.0.1 logged out (login time: Monday, September 20, 2021 2:26:48 PM MSK, number of API invocations: 0, user agent: pyvmomi)
They are emerging every 30 seconds and totally overwhelm the log. So if you need to find some events even for 24h ago, it is becoming almost impossible.
I tried to find out what is the reason, checked crontab, but found nothing suspicious, probably because it's clean ESXi image without any vendor stuff.
Is there any way to either find out what the hell is causing this or at least disable these noise in log?
Thanks in advance
can you perform the below workaround
/etc/init.d/vnicen.sh stop
chkconfig vnicen.sh off
chkconfig --list | grep vnicen
vnicen.sh off

Hi, Srijithk!
Thanks for your try!
Unfortunately, there is no such service, so i predictevely got the following answer:
-sh: /etc/init.d/vnicen.sh: not found
I have attached a screen with /etc/init.d/ contents so you can see by yourself.
BTW ESXi version is 6.7u3
Same issue here. Same result.
-sh: /etc/init.d/vnicen.sh: not found
