Urgent issue .... I'm out of idea's help !! can't access db b/c of sql mirroring

Hi ...

So here it is ..

Primary DB server is up but I shut down my mirrored database to perform some work.  Issue is my witness and mirrored are on the same server and now my vmware db on the primary is stuck in Principal, disconnected / In recovery).

When I try and send commands to turn on in vsphere it says it can't connect to primary

Thoughts please.....

got it .. was able to completely remove mirroring on the principal

ALTER DATABASE TicketSalesDB SET PARTNER OFF;
GO
USE TicketSalesDB;
GO

I would check if protocols are enabled ?
