Upgrading a standalone (free) ESXi 5.0 host

I need to upgrade a standalone (free) ESXi 5.0 host to the latest available version of ESXi keeping the esisting configuration and VMs.

Can I just insert the up-to-date ESXi CD, boot from it, select to update the host without losing the confnguration and the VMs?

Shoud I consider any additional issue?
