Upgrade Ideas needed

Hi,

I have around 40 ESX hosts which I need to update from 3.5 U4 to 4.0 U1, the problem is that these hosts each have 2 local disk VMFS partitions with 2 VMs on each partition so each host hosts 4 VMs.

The other thing is that I would like to have a custom partition size from the default ESX4 recommendations.

Can anyone think of an easy way for me to update the hosts whilst leaving the local stored VMs in tact and customizing the partition sizes along the way ?

Thanks

The COS disk is now a vmdk in a VMFS datastore.

So you can customize his partition with no problem.
