Upgrade: ESXi 6.7 to ESXi7.0.2

Hi,

Good morning, good afternoon or good evening.

Can I upgrade esxi6.7 to 7.0.2 directly?

Any help is appreciated. I just did my esxi 7.0.1 to 7.0.2...

Thanks,

August

Basically yes, but it depends on the currently installed build.
Please see https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/67077 for supported upgrade paths.

Ciao

Yes, you can upgrade to 7.0u2, always check the compatibility of the HW.

To check the update paths you can use this link Product Interoperability Matrix (vmware.com)

Thank you André. I think I need to update the build for my 6.7 first. This is my esxi VMware ESXi, 6.7.0, 14320388, which is not on the matrix. 😞

Nope. I think you missed the foot note.

"Note: All prior releases of 6.7 to 7.0 are supported."

Please ignore my comments. I somehow thought about vCenter, but it's about ESXi.
