Update Manager

Hi,

not sure if this is a problem or not however i've recently installed the patches for esx 4 and the build version is different between vsphere client and the server itself.

The server indicates its build version 219382 however according to the vpshere client its version 208167

my understaing from working with esx3.5 is that the version should udpate on the vpshere client

appreciate your response

Are you talking about the vCenter client showing a different build number for an updated ESX host than the server itself shows? Or do you talk about the vCenter client version?

Different build numbers are not really a problem - ESX is updated much more frequently than vSphere client.
