Update Manager for Linux

We just upgraded to ESX 4.1 U1 and we need to update the VMware tools on the VMs. I know I can use Update Manager to "Upgrade to Match Host" for the Windows machines, but will this also work for Linux VMs? I seem to remember there were issues with this in the past.

Thanks,

Scott

Hello Scott

Exactly, Update Manager can updated your VMs Windows, Linux and ESX.

Just download the patches and choose the corrects for your OS Linux

"...Update Manager scans and remediates Linux virtual machines for VMware Tools and virtual hardware upgrades."
