IF my case for assign guest VM can used 2GB of ram.In real it must be assign more that 2G memory when create VM?
and If i'm assign VM can used like physical ram to memory 2G and limit memory resource 2000MB and share memory value is 'normal' Is it best and like physical server memory config 2G?
If you assign 2 GB of memory to your VM it is like building a physical VM with 2 GB of physical memory - but remembering this is a virtual machine running on a physical box that has fixed amount of physical RAM so there might be a time when the virtual machines fighting for memory that is when the Memory Shares come into play - the shares are used to determine how much memory each VM will get when there is contention - check out http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsphere4/r40_u1/vsp_40_u1_resource_mgmt.pdf for more information -
