Unable to upload or download large files

I have trying to upload and download files to the datastore. I get an IO error and NFC error. I have tested with small files (a few MBs) which work and large files (3 GBs) which fail. In the logs:

[   :QuickInf:P: 9] 2014-07-11 10:08:45.865  'I/O error occurred.' : this most likely happened in low level C++ code (authdcnx.dll).

The DebugView tool from Microsoft can be used to see (and record) C++ logging.

Increasing client timeout setting to values > 2 minutes sometimes may help.

[   :ShowErr :M: 6] 2014-07-11 10:08:45.912  Error: I/O error occurred.
