Unable to update or add host to vcenter

Hello,

We have an installation with two Esxi 6.0.0 hosts added to a vcenter 6.5.0 machine.

All was working fine until yesterday, that I removed one lost datastore because of broken NAS, and suddenly one of my hosts lost connection with vcenter and shows this error:

'Exception occured: Error interacting with configuration file /etc/vmware/esx.conf: esx.conf parser -- 202, 26): forward slash expected

I tried to update the host with a patch but I get the same error, and it seems like I can´t fix it.

VMs are still working though.

Is there any workaround for this?

Hello.
Please indicate step by step how you are trying to upgrade ESXi.
At what level (Build) you are trying to upgrade.

I am trying to upgrade by booting from an ISO (you must choose the option to upgrade and preserve the VMFS).
