I have a Dell server with ESXi 5.1.0.
I have added an approved PCI eSata controller to the box, the device shows in the VM Properties correctly (PCI Device 0 .....) but the VM ( Windows SBS 2011) does not see it. I can't see it in device manager at all.
I am a newbie to ESX and any help is appreciated. I have rebooted the unit several times and removed and added the device several times. It still does not show in device manager.
