I'm using ESXi 5.1 and trying to create a RDM to a solid state drive. I've verified my device SSD name and my store name. The store is on a NAS connected via NFS.
When I run the command below from /vmfs/volumes, I get a "Failed to create virtual disk: Function not implemented (2490377)" error.
vmkfstools -z /vmfs/devices/disks/t10.ATA_____M***SSD2______________________000125******1C9 /vmfs/volumes/VirtualDrives/PhysicalDrive.vmdk
Am I missing something? Thanks.
