Hi all,
Till now i was able to connect to the vsphere host, but dont know some how its disconnected, am able to ping the vsphere 4.0 host , but when am trying to connect it from vsphere client it gives me error attached,
Does any one cam across these issue, is there any service need tobe restarted on the direct console.

I guess, you need to restart the management services on the ssh(putty) session : -
service mgmt-vmware restart
service vmware-vpxa restart
wait for 2-3 mins after this and try again.
Are you able to access the host via http://10.238.118.44

even with IP from Browser is not accessible.
I guess, you need to restart the management services on the ssh(putty) session : -

service vmware-vpxa restart
wait for 2-3 mins after this and try again.
I agree with naveenvm, restarting the management network is be an option. Watch out if you configured automatic startup of VM's!
What you should eventually do first, is to test the management network from the DCUI. Make sure this works and also make sure there's no duplicate IP address in your network.

Your solution worked for me, i have runned the command
service mgmt-vmware restart
service vmware-vpxa restart
and now am able to connect Host from Vcenter.
