Unable to change the ScratchConfig.CurrentScratchLocation-ESXi 7.0.1

Hello,
Esxi version:VMware ESXi 7.0.1 build-17325551

I'm trying to change the ScratchConfig.CurrentScratchLocation, but the task fails every time with "a specified parameter was not correct" error.

I´ve tried throught GUI and CLI with the comand # vim-cmd hostsvc/advopt/update ScratchConfig.CurrentScratchLocation string

/tmp/_osdata7anpulct. but shows the same error.

I need to change from /var/lib/vmware/osdata to /tmp/_osdata7anpulct

Any suggestions ?

I didn't think vSAN data stores supported having core dumps and scratch partitions pointed to them, so I looked up a couple of links confirming it:

ScratchConfig.CurrentScratchLocation is read only, and will be set to ScratchConfig.ConfiguredScratchLocation after a host reboot.
Also note that vSAN datasatores are not supported as scratch locations (see e.g. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2074026).
