I have an ESXi v8 installed on a server and assigned a static IP. It is connected to a L3 switch in the same VLAN as the PC I'm using for configuration. There's DHCP configured on the switch which is in the same subnet as the hypervisor.
I am able to access the web UI, but I'm unable to ping the gateway from the server, via SSH nor VMs.
I can ping the gateway from the PC and can ping the server's IP as well. Also, the server can ping the PC just fine.
I ensured that the server's VLAN-ID is set to none, and that vmnic0 is connected.
