USB hard drive as storage for VM's?

Hi!

I know the USB support for VM's in ESX(i) 3.x isn't supported. But now that vSphere is released, is it supported here? I really do not want to use a 3rd. party product like AnywhereUSB from Digi (not that it's something wrong with that product). Can't seem to find anything about this topic...

USB hard drives are unsupported in ESX 4.x also. Unfortunately you'll need to continue doing what you're doing to present that storage to ESX.
