USB Token passthrough

Hello everyone! I've been trying to solve an issue with no luck... read many posts and followed instructions (such as modifying the vmx file) but I can't make this work.

I need an usb token (connected to the host machine) to be added to a VM.

Here is the output to the following command: "esxcli hardware usb passthrough device list"

Thank you in advance!

I always recommend using a AnywhereUSB Network USB Concentrator for this.  If you get it working on the host, that VM cannot move off that host without issues.  It's much easier to use the AnywhereUSB device.

You also need to stop the pcscd process.

USB Tokens and smart cards use the same underlying technology.
