I installed an ESXI 7.0 server about 8 weeks ago and USB passthrough worked out of the box. I recently updated to 7.0 Update 3 and the USB passthrough stopped working. I set the emulator from 1.0 to 2.0 and 3.0, but no avail. Passthrough works for most devices but my card reader is not working. The card reader is as follows:

Like I said, it worked before and the above card reader still works when I connect it to a local VM guest running on my local machine using the same VMWare workstation 16.2.1 build-18811642 that I used to connect to the ESXI remote server.
If I try to connect the card reader to my ESXI server, however, it never shows it as connected (connect option still available) and it never shows the card as inserted (when it is).
I am running VMWorkstation on an intel laptop running Ubuntu 20.10 and the ESXI is on a Dell blade server.
