Hello, I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this, feel free to move the question to the right place.
I have a performance problem with USB drives I have connected to ESXI 4.1 U1. The device is Samsung S2 2.5" 1TB. I have two of this storage devices and they are supposed to provide a temporary backup solution. The problem is, when I add the device to the VM I'm problems to detect and use the device. when I access Disk Management in Server 2003 it friezes, after a while I can access the drive and even start a copy, but in the middle of the coping process it gets stuck again and so on.
Any idea what could be the problem?
Any chance that this device is not supported by ESXI?
