Two ESXi 4.0 on one vSphere Client ?

Hi,

I would like to manage two serveurs (ESXi 4.0) with vSphere client.

Now i can connect only one ESXi in vSphere client, and if i want to manage the second i must disconnect from the first and reconnect on the second.

Can i connect two ESXi in same vSphere client session ?

Thanks you

Benjamin

No, you'd have to get and license vCenter Server and then add the ESX(i) hosts to manage

Thanks,

OK... I think i will stay like that... 2000$ just for manage 2 servers in one vShpere Client, it's a little bit expensive Smiley Happy

Thanks you for answer.

It's not just for managing the 2 ESX hosts, it's the extra functionality that it opens up for you - HA etc..

Thanks,

You dont "have to" close down the first session to open a second session of VClient. I run two instances all the time while I manage two servers.

You can try Veeam Monitor Free

With the vSphere Client and Veeam Monitor installed it gives you both monitoring and the ability to manage your ESXi hosts and guests within one GUI.
