Too many vlans for srcPort

I am not sure what changed but the vmkernel logs are getting flooded with these errors. I was unable to find anything on the web. Can anyone tell me why or point me in a direction that might help?

Thanks for the reply. That is a good overview of VLANS, but I don't think that is the issue.

I guess I should include some additional information. The message did not start appearing until 4.1 update 2. Nothing changed from a networking perspective.

Could be an error in the CDP code....I would open a ticket with VMware.
