1.There is an Oracle vm in the repository of Lenovo DS2200-V1

2.In the data storage area of the oracle vm machine, there are also two storage areas, one is De2000H-10T, and the other is lenovo DS2200-VI
3.In the oracle system, there is only one hd, the location is on DE2000H-10T, and it is not mounted in the cd device
4.How to delete the non-existing oracle in lenovo DS2200-V1?

@hlanr1,

This could be because the VM had an item which is no longer accessible from that datastore. Check the following:

  1. If the VM has a snapshot, it could be possible that was taken when an ISO was on the other datastore
  2. If the VM has an ISO, unmount it and change to Client Device.

Hope this works.

Hello @hlanr1 ,

There are only 2 possibilities where the VM is showing 2 Datastores instead of 1.

1. When there is a ISO which is Mounted and/OR Connected to the VM.

Solution: For this please goto Edit Settings page of the VM and Expand the CD.DVD Drive and From the Drop Down Menu select Host Client and click OK. This task can be performed safely on running VM.

2. There might have been an iso mounted on the VM and a Snapshot was taken on it so unless the snapshot is consolidated the VM will show the reference of 2 datastores.

Solution: Right click on the VM --> Snapshot --> Snapshot Consolidation . Let the task complete successfully.

Please feel free to write to me for any further queries.
