Syslog not configured PXE install on iSCSI Target

Hi,

I have problem with installing VMware-VMvisor-Installer-4.1.0.update1-348481.x86_64 or VMware-VMvisor-Installer-4.1.0-260247.x86_64. I have pxe server on Scientific Linux with this images posted by httpd. In my kickstart file I placed only root password and install url. I am using syslinux 3.51, on boot options I placed kernel mboot.c32 and append vmkboot.gz ks=http.... and vmkernel.gz sys.vgz cim.vgz install.vgz

I'm installing vmvisor on iSCSI target.

I see in log(alt+F12), that target is connected, but there is an alert: warning: syslog is not configured. Please check Syslog options under Configuration.Software.Advance Settings in vShpare client.

Installation hags and is frozen and I must do hard reset od machine.

Has anyone any idea what could be wrong?

One update: when installing from CD on iSCSI target warning about syslog also appears, but installation doesn't hangs and isn't frozen, goes through to partitioning part. Only when I'm using PXE server installation is frozen.

ALT+F1 : "Tech support mode has been disabled by the administrator"

ALT+F2 : "/bin/ash: can't open /sbin/install"

OK,

I've managed to find cause of problem: in append line I have one only 2 "-" before install.vgz ... when I add one more, installation goes on... What a small annoying thing!
