Syncing current host configuration information with USB boot device from another vmhost

Hi there,

I took an ESXi 6.7 USB boot drive from one of my ESXi 6.7 hosts (vmhost1) and used it on another host (vmhost2) as I was having issues with one of my old servers taking the installation and booting properly.  The boot device works fine, but it has the old host information. How can I update the current USB device with the current host configuration settings (ie. IP, DNS, Hostname) so when it reboots, it doesn't reboot with the old host information (ie. IP, DNS, Hostname)?

I've looked everywhere for this information.  Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Jeff

As your post needs moving to the area for ESXi, I have reported it to the moderators.
