We are experiencing a strange connectivity issue at the moment.
After a network cable switch change this morning we experience Datacenter unavailability issues.
Well the first thing I would say is : roll back the change.
But the customer does not want to do this as a change which is needed and there is no point of return (yeah I know, that's not a best practice procedure
).
What we have, are 2 datacenters (on the same location...)
The second DC is having the "problems", the problem since the change is that we receive on an continuous basis:
The system <UID> in the datacenter is unreachable. VMs may stop and become inactive if addtional systems become unreachable.
Directly after this message, we receive : System <Same UID> is reachable again and it now active
Directly after that the message : Alarm System in the datacenter is unreachable, VMs may be impacted on <Datacenter> Changed from Green to Red
And after that we receive (again) : The system <UID> in the datacenter is unreachable. VMs may stop and become inactive if addtional systems become unreachable.
etc etc etc.
Any thoughts about this?
