Strange Host Networking issue

I have a vmware host in a cluster. The strange thing is that all of a sudden when i go under configuration --> networking --> vsphere standard switch, I'm not able to see the VMkernel Port with the IP address assigned to the vmkernel port that's used to connect the host to the cluster.

I have attached two files. screenshot1 is from the other vmware host in the cluster that looks correct Screenshot2 however is the host that doesn't look right. I can still ping the address that doesn't appear in the vmkernel port and i can connect to that address using the vsphere client. WTH?

Some assistance is appreciated.

Thanks a lot

like you go to the configuration of the standard switch:

configuration --> networking --> vsphere standard switch

there you have a tab with distributed switch:
