Storage vMotion

moving VMs from one storage to another only does 2 concurrent connections. As I understand ESXi5,.0 should support up to 8 with 10GB. Is there configuration setting to tweak?

Thanks

The maximum concurrent Storage vMotion operations per host is 2... maybe you are thinking about the maximum number for vMotion (not the Storage vMotion) that is really 8.

The 8 simultaneous migrations on a 10GBit/s network are vMotion operations, i.e. only migrating the workload, not the storage.

For Storage vMotion the maximums are 2 per host and/or 8 per datastore (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003497).
