This what about this Storage I/O Control Injector in vsphere 5.1 given on the vmware website at this link http://www.vmware.com/products/datacenter-virtualization/vsphere/storage-io-control.html. My question how long it takes to calculate the Peak throughput? Like how many Hours it took to calculate this and Is it recalculated also after a Particular duration?
The latency threshold is set to the value determined by the I/O injector (a part of SIOC). When the I/O injector calculates the peak throughput, it then finds the 90 percent throughput value and measures the latency at that point to determine the threshold.
