Has the Spectre vulnerability been addressed by 6.7 U3 (fully patched)? I also know that HWC needs to be at least at

v9? Is there anything else I am missing???

The KB https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/52245 and https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/52337 were published a while ago.

A newer KB about hypervisor-assisted guest mitigation has been published recently https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/55806. Have a look about supported vSphere processors that are affected there in Table 1. That said, "fully patched" depends on your hardware + virtual infrastructure setup.

OS specific mitigations were adressed in https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/55807, https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/55111.

Nothing Spectre-related lately on https://www.vmware.com/security/advisories.html though.
