Slow network connection on 10gigabit

Hello everyone,

Maybe this does not belong here but i'm looking for people that might know my situation. If i'm in the wrong forum please point me to the right one Smiley Happy

Situation as follows:

HP DL380 g9 with 10Gb Nic

running ESXI 6.0.0

VM's running with VMXNET 3

All VM's are on the same vSwitch. (AD and RDS)

All the data is on DAS

i have 2 HPE 1950's in a logical stack.

on both the 1950's i have two 10Gb ports.

I have configured 1 port on both the switches to act as an agrigated link.

both the 10Gb ports are connected using a premade Cat 6A cable to the 10Gb Nic.

the OS running is WS2012R2.

The problem:

As you can see, the server connections are setup to be 10Gbps, my actual troughput from a host to the AD is about 30MB/s. (tested with 10GB compressed files)

Trying to copy from the RDS server to the AD server i get speeds between 500MB/s and 150MB/s, this is performance i'm aiming for. But these speeds are from one VM to another.

Have i done anything wrong in this configuration that my networks speeds are this slow?

I have no idea what this could be as i thought i configured everything as it should.

This is a real issue for my client as they want to be able to open and edit autocad files directly from the server.

Currently they are pulling them off the server, working on them cause it's fasters, and when the drawings are done, they place them back.

what are the troubleshootings steps for this issue?
