Site impact vCenter another location from ESXi Host..

Hi Teams

We have 4 esxi 5.0 Host at Shanghai and we also have 2 esxi Host at Hong Kong.

We have vCenter at Hong Kong but none in Shanghai. I am planning to add 4 esxi at Shanghai monitor at Hong Kong DC.

May I know, any impact for Hong Kong site? I mean from network bandwidth. As far I know, the HA, DRS are between 4 esxi at Shang Hai.

Please advice.

As long as the required ports are open for VC to ESX communication and you do not have network latency and DNS etc is set up correctly (HA and VC operations depends on those three conditions) I don't see a reason why this should not work,
