Silly...adding guest OS versions

Pretty new to VMware here, and I've got a silly one...

I need to add a few additional guest OS types, I currently only have the Windows flavors available. How does one accomplish this?

Thanks in advance!

What are you attempting to do? All VMware products allow for the creation both Windows and Linux virtual machinces

You can't add additional operating systems. The ones provided are those supported by VMware. What exactly are you looking for? Depending on what you are looking for you can select Windows, Linux, ... in order to display the available products/versions for the selection in the drop-down list.

LOL mk - thats what I was looking for. For some reason, vcenter decided to not populate the linux dropdown when I selected it. I restarted the client and the os's showed up. My VC box is horribly slow, which I should start another thread on, not sure why - since this environment and that server is fresh.

Thanks again!
