Several errors Provider method implementation threw unexpected exception: Rejecting login on a session where login failed,

Hello,

i am logged in with my domain admin-account in vsphere 6.5B.

In several parts of the configuration i receive the following error (see attachment).

My domain-administrator-account is having Administrator-privileges on top and all child-object.

With the administrator@vsphere.local-account there are no errors.

I already tried to re-ad the account and domain-admin-group --> without succes.

How to fix this?

In Administration>Access Control> Global Permissions, is your domain admin account configured with Administrator role or part of a group that has Administrator role in the Global Permissions?

Hi,

the domain-account is part of administrator-role.

That should have full permissions on everything in vsphere?

If the domain account is in the Administrator group and is assigned to the Administrator role in Global Permissions, it should have full access.

Try restarting the webclient services. If issue persist restart vCenter server.

If you found my answers helpful please consider marking them as helpful or correct.

I have been facing this issue too but only when I am trying to add tags to existing hosts.

I have found in a few threads that this is a knows issue with vSphere 6.x versions and fixed from 7.0 onwards however I am facing this in vSphere 7.x but it is working for me with vSphere 6.x vSphere.

I am also looking for solution to this.
