Serching for a compatible Motherboard for ESXi 4.1

Greetings,

I'm a student and I try to find a Motherboard that supports ESXi 4.1.

I'm searching in low range , mostly ASUS or Gigabyte boards where I can use my 8go DDR3.

I already search the web with no answer so i'm asking you guys if you have an idea.

I'd suggest you take a look at the WhiteBox lists like http://www.vm-help.com//esx40i/esx40_whitebox_HCL.php and/or http://ultimatewhitebox.com/motherboard to get an idea of what could work. Most issues with WhiteBoxes occur with incompatible NICs. This issue can usually be solved by adding e.g. an Intel PRO/1000 GT NIC to the system. If you need RAID you will also need to look for a hardware RAID controller.
