We have a new ProLiant DL380 G10 server we are using for a Vhost with ESXI 7.0.3 installed.
I am trying to add 2x4TB SATA SSD drives. Initially I saw only one when trying to add them as a data store.
After unplugging and plugging in the drives individually I found that if I plug one of them in individually it sees it. If I plug the second one in by itself I can see that one, but when I plug both of them in at the same time I see only one when trying to add to the datastore.
In other words, I can see each drive when plugged in by itself but can only see one when both are plugged in at the same time.
The server sees the drives in the BIOS and talking to HP about it they said that since the server sees the drives the server is not having any issues and I should talk to VMware support.
Do you have an idea of why I might be seeing this?
